| The Cape May Hotel, Motel & Lodging Association would like to welcome you to Victorian Cape May. The following list of members is provided to help you find hotel or motel accommodations. Cape May is the oldest Vacation resort in the country and offers many wonderful attractions. One of the best reasons to vist Cape May is its beaches. You can do everything from swim to surf-fishing or just sit back on the warm sand, relax and watch the tide wash in. If you're in the mood for something a little special or you're feeling romantic, try a carriage ride. The horse and carriages take you back to the time when Cape May was first visited by tourists in the 1800s. Try sailing one of the Cape Mays schooners for a fun filled day with fresh sea breezes caressing your face. Or, try one of our many sport fishing boats. Take a bike ride to our Historic Cape May Lighthouse Museum, built in 1895; or to the Emlen Physick Estate House Museum built in 1879. Take one of the many tours of some of the finest Victorian Architecture in the country. Visit Historic Cold Spring Village where you will see how life was in the 1800s with a few original buildings actually moved from Cape May City. Visit our quaint shops or just take a quiet stroll on the Washington Street Mall. If bird watching is your hobby, the Cape May area offers some of the finest bird watching in the country. To top this off, dine at one of the many fine, award winning restaurants before sampling the nightlife. |
